When you loose hair all the ''hair-alterations'' are just too obvious like my eyelashes..:))
The visible side effects of the chemotherapy treatments is not unnoticeable. It's therefore the one people will comfort you for. 'Don't worry, your hair will grow back''.
As someone receiving a combination of 3 drugs of strong chemo, you know that by week 3 you will start loosing your hair but somehow it never sink in until you start noticing that your hair is on your clothes, pillow when you wake up in the morning.
- CHOCK and CONFUSION - when you forget and hand-combed your hair...then discover a serious amount of hair in your hands. TERRIFYING...!
It really does feel like other parts of your body are falling off too not just the hair. This time round I developed a phobia of hair - constantly thinking that my hair was probably in whatever I was having even though I cut my it extremely short beforehand and I'm almost always wearing a headscarf.😀
It's something that you end up accepting and you start finding ways to deal with it when you go out. (I always liked head-wear but I now have multiple ways to cover my head. I might drop a video tutorial here) You also have to deal with your skin that will also be affected. See photos..:)👀
I am looking forward to when things will go back to normal...
